-
- When you are invited to dinner or to a special gathering at one’s home, a hostess gift is a way for you to be gracious and show your appreciation for the invitation. The gift is a small token that the host will undoubtedly appreciate.
- Some ideas for hostess gifts are: potted plants, a bouquet of flowers, stationary notes, craft soap, hankies, tea towels, pears, candy, nuts, fruits or veggie platters, cheese, wine or liquor (as appropriate).
Prepare your gift to look appealing and festive. Presentation is as important as the gift itself, but make sure your gift wrap does not overpower the actual gift. Gift bags garnished with tissue paper and a ribbon are an easy but attractive way to wrap your present. And, don’t forget to add a card featuring “to” & “from.”
This is a simple, but effective, guide to gift giving!
